Spring News from the Farm

Spring is on it’s way, not a moment too soon, we are all grasping those moments of blue skies and warmer sunshine. At last the nights are getting so much lighter, and the mornings too. The first washing has been out on the line and the first seeds have been sown. The snowdrops have been showing off along the drive and in the coppice next to the coffee shop.   We’ve got the first few brave daffodils and even the honey bees have made it out of the hive for a stretch of their wings. We’ve enjoyed watching flocks of lapwing recently, with clouds of long tailed tits  and goldfinches chattering amongst the pine trees.
