Delicious cakes and freshly ground coffee are waiting for you at the coffee shop.
It's MOTHERS DAY at Broom House Farm this week - yes we're starting early with a special Friday. Find a mum to bring and you'll be rewarded with free tea for her and a little surprise too!
The girls are cooking a delicious selection of light lunches in the kitchen, using local seasonal British ingredients wherever possible.
A sample of our menu includes:
- Home made soups of the day
- Hot beef sandwich
- Specials such as leek and emmental tart, spicy chilli beef or sausage pasta
- The Broom House Ploughman
- Jacket potatoes with a variety of fillings.
- Hot Saddleback sausage buns
Sticky toffee pudding, chocolate brownies, millionaire shortbread, scones, muffins and a selection of cakes will tempt you back for more.
The coffee shop is housed in a beautiful wooden building with living sedum roof and solar power. A cosy log burning stove waits to warm you on cold winter's days.
Patio doors open out on to the decking, where picnic tables overlook the children's play field. Indoor's the farming mat and story books provide entertainment for the children and newspapers and magazines await the adults. Make sure you stop in to see our hens, ducks and piglets before you go! Please note that the butchers shop is open as usual on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, but that we will try and help you with any meat purchases when you visit the coffee shop outside these times -
