Children's Parties

Broom House Farm is a wonderful venue for children's parties. Most children like to have an hour or so in the adventure trail and then come back for a tasty meal, but we can tailor your party to fit with you and your children's ideas.

We find that children over the age of 6 are quite happy to romp in the wood whatever the weather - they'll have a "Welly Good Day Out" if they enter into the spirit of adventure and wear the right clothes - old clothes and trainers or sensible outdoor footwear is best, with wellies needed only on the wettest days. A camouflage theme is popular but we have had several fairy and pirate parties!

If you'd like, we can supply a "Trail Blazer" to help you take your party around the woodland adventure - this works well with younger children (4-6 year olds).

We can also help with organising treasure hunts, farm tours etc.

Please note that Adventure Trail tickets last all day.

We do have a trunk full of great games to suit all ages if the weather is really really bad - or if party games are more your style than adventuring.

Party meals will usually take place in the Cart Shed. This room is available for hire on Saturday afternoons and all day Sunday to Thursday. We welcome after school parties.

We suggest a maximum of 30 children

You may bring your own picnic to eat in the picnic area or in the cart shed if you have hired this area, and of course you may like to bring your own birthday cake etc.  Most people prefer to leave it all up to us and use our catering.  We can supply room decoration on request

For those who need a more adrenaline fueled kick Fury Events, who are based onsite, can organise activities such as quad biking and mud buggies.

NEW!! URBAN COMMANDO PARTY   Battle missions in the woods using state of the art infra red laser tag guns.  Fresh air and fantastic fun, Urban Commando will organise tailor made team games such as rescue and siege missions for groups of up to 14 players.  Example Price £150.00 for 2 hours. Guideline Party Prices:

• £50 for 2 hour hire of the cart shed, handwashing/toilet facilities and staff member
• £5 per child for food
• £4 per child admission into Adventure trail and play field combined:
• or £1 per child play field only
• The birthday child and parents go free into the wood with parties of up to 12 children and the birthday child has free food if you are hiring the Cart Shed
• 1 additional adult per additional 6 children goes free.

We will quote specifically to suit your individual party and menu requirements and suggest that you obtain a complete price for your party when you book

• Vegetable & Fruit Platter:- carrot, apple, cheese sticks, etc
• Sandwiches:- tuna, ham, cheese, jam, marmite

Menu 2@ £5 per child

• Sausage buns
• Crisps
• Chocolate crispy cakes
• Ribena/Orange Squash

Menu 3 £4 per child

• Sausage Sandwiches or Burgers
• Crisps
• Coke/Lemonade or Squash

 Tea and coffee can be provided in the cart shed for grown ups

Birthday cakes can be supplied by arrangement and start at £10

Prices all include VAT at 20%

A deposit of £50 is payable on booking.

Please note that the cart shed also houses the butchery shop.
