Children's Parties

Broom House Farm is a wonderful venue for children's parties. Most children like to have an hour or so in the adventure trail and then come back for a tasty meal, but we can tailor your party to fit with you and your children's ideas.

We find that children over the age of 6 are quite happy to romp in the wood whatever the weather - they'll have a "Welly Good Day Out" if they enter into the spirit of adventure and wear the right clothes - old clothes and trainers are best, with wellies needed only on the wettest days. A camouflage theme is popular but we have had several fairy and pirate parties!

If you'd like, we can supply a "Trail Blazer" to help you take your party around the woodland adventure - this works well with younger children (4-6 year olds).

We can also help with organising treasure hunts, farm tours etc.

Please note that Adventure Trail tickets last all day.

Mel and her team do have a trunk full of great games to suit all ages if the weather is really really bad - or if party games are more your style than adventuring.

Party meals will usually take place in the Cart Shed. This room is available for hire on Saturday afternoons and all day Sunday to Thursday. We welcome after school parties.

We suggest a maximum of 30 children

You may bring your own picnic to eat in the picnic area or in the cart shed if you have hired this area, and of course you may like to bring your own birthday cake etc.

We can supply party bags/going home presents/room decoration on request

For those who need a more adrenaline fueled kick Fury Events, who are based onsite, can organise activities such as quad biking and mud buggies.

Guideline Party Prices:

• £50 for 2 hour hire of the cart shed, handwashing/toilet facilities (£100 for full day hire)
• £4 per child for food
• £4 per child/discounted grown up admission into Adventure trail, picnic area and play field combined:
• £1 per child Play field and picnic area only
• The birthday child and parents goes free into the wood and the birthday child has free food
• 1 additional adult per 6 children goes free.

We will quote specifically to suit your individual party and menu requirements and give you a complete price for your party when you book

Menu 1 £4 per child

• Vegetable & Fruit Platter:- carrot, apple, cheese sticks, etc
• Sandwiches:- tuna, ham, cheese, jam, marmite
• Sausages on sticks
• Crisps
• Ribena/Orange Squash

Menu 2@ £4 per child

• Sausage buns
• Crisps
• Chocolate crispy cakes
• Ribena/Orange Squash

 Tea and coffee can be provided in the cart shed for grown ups

Birthday cakes can be supplied by arrangement and start at £10

Prices all include VAT at 15%

A deposit of £50 is payable on booking.

Please note that the cart shed also houses the butchery shop.
